Winding Motorcycle Tour Harz from Wernigerode

Your Harz motorcycle tour starts and ends in Wernigerode, the 'colourful town on the Harz', where your 4-star hotel with motorcycle parking and wellness area awaits. From here the guided Harz motorcycle tour leads you over three days to the finest spots in the mountains: winding roads through Saxony-Anhalt and Lower Saxony, past the Rappbode Dam with Germany's highest dam wall, up to the Wurmberg cable car and through towns such as Nordhausen, Osterwieck and Clausthal-Zellerfeld. After breakfast each day the route heads to the petrol station, then onto the day trip – in the evenings a dinner buffet at the hotel awaits.

Highlights

Experience the Rappbode Dam

On your Rappbode Dam motorcycle stage you head to Germany's highest dam wall and take a break right at the reservoir with its approximately 113 million cubic metres capacity, before the tour continues through the Harz.

Wurmberg Cable Car Stop

On the Wurmberg cable car motorcycle stop, you pause on day two in Braunlage and can optionally ride the 2.8 km cable car up to the 971-metre Wurmberg summit before continuing the tour.

Curves near the Brocken

The Brocken motorcycle tour passes Saxony-Anhalt's highest mountain through Schierke, the last village below the summit, and offers several winding road sections that are a genuine pleasure for experienced riders.

Rest Stop in Nordhausen

The Nordhausen motorcycle tour takes you along the Zorge River into the town of the same name, where a lunch break is planned on both of the first two day trips before the route continues.

Clausthal-Zellerfeld Stop

On the Clausthal-Zellerfeld motorcycle tour you visit the mining and university town in the Goslar district, before a coffee break in Schierke and the return to the hotel in Wernigerode.
