Motorcycle Tour over Alpine Passes to the Adriatic

This Trentino, Venice and Istria motorcycle tour covers seven stages: starting from the Illertal service area on the A7, the route heads via Bregenz, Liechtenstein and Switzerland towards the Alps. This alpine passes motorcycle tour crosses the Umbrail Pass, Stelvio and Gavia Pass into the Val di Sole, before heading over Monte Grappa into Veneto. After the Venice motorcycle day with city tour and boat ride, you continue towards the Adriatic through Istria to Medulin near Pula. Stage 1

Day 1–3

Italy

From the alpine passes of the Trentino through Veneto to the lagoon city of Venice – three stages take you through the varied landscapes of northern Italy.

Day 1 · Italy

Day 1: Dettingen – Dimaro Folgarida

This Trentino motorcycle tour begins at the Illertal service area on the A7, heads past Memmingen and Bregenz through Liechtenstein and Switzerland to Davos. Via the Umbrail Pass, Stelvio and Gavia Pass you reach the Val di Sole and your first hotel in Dimaro Folgarida.

Day 2 · Italy

Day 2: Dimaro Folgarida – Preganziol

From the Val di Sole the route continues via Madonna di Campiglio and Trento into the Veneto region. Monte Grappa is the highest point of today's stage, before you reach your hotel in Preganziol via Treviso – the base for the Venice motorcycle day that follows.

Day 3: Day Trip to Venice

A coach takes you to Tronchetto, then a private water taxi brings you close to St. Mark's Square. A two-hour guided city walk through Venice shows you the lagoon city, before the return journey to the hotel. A relaxed day between two stages of this Adriatic motorcycle tour.

Croatia

Slovenia

Austria

Pass after pass over Predil, Jaufen and Timmelsjoch to Sölden in Tyrol.

Via the Predil Pass you leave the Soča Valley, stop in Tarvisio and cross into Austria. Along the Lesach Valley via Toblach, Bruneck and Sterzing, the Jaufenpass and Timmelsjoch lead to Sölden – a classic of any Austria motorcycle tour.

Day 7

Germany

The final stage returns via the Hahntennjoch to the starting point at the Illertal service area.

Day 7: Sölden – Dettingen

Through the Ötztal, along the Inn and via Imst you reach the Hahntennjoch, then Pfronten and the Illertal service area on the A7. Here the guided motorcycle tour with your own bike concludes before each rider sets off for home individually.
