Day 7: Polonnaruwa – Sigiriya (90 km)

In the morning you explore the extensive ruined city of Polonnaruwa, best visited by motorcycle. In the afternoon the tour continues through the hot dry zone before you climb the Piturangala viewpoint rock at sunset.

Day 8 · Sri Lanka

Day 8: Sigiriya – Rest Day

Day 15: Nuwara Eliya – Ella/Wellawaya (88 km)

The tour is ridden on Honda 250 cc motorcycles (seat height approx. 86–88 cm) in Sri Lankan left-hand traffic. For this Sri Lanka motorcycle tour we organise the required Sri Lankan Riding Permit; you bring your own valid international driving licence. A mechanic and a support vehicle for luggage and service accompany the entire tour.
