Pyrenees Motorcycle Tour: Andorra Included

Your self-guided motorcycle tour through Spain begins in Barcelona, where you collect your rental bike and learn all the stages of the coming week in the tour briefing. This Catalonia motorcycle tour first takes you over the Montseny mountain before winding asphalt and the first Pyrenees passes follow. Route book, map material and a GPS navigator with pre-programmed daily routes accompany you on every stage, while 3- and 4-star category hotels ensure comfort each evening.

Highlights

Andorra & Port d'Envalira

The Andorra motorcycle stage takes you over the Port d'Envalira, the highest year-round paved pass in the Pyrenees at 2,409 metres. Between old smuggling routes you enjoy mountain panoramas before the descent into the Aran Valley.

Aran Valley Pyrenees Passes

The passes around Port de la Bonaigua rank among the most winding stages of the tour. Along the rivers Noguera Pallaresa and Bonaigua, the route leads through narrow valleys and open plateaus to the Aran Valley hotel.

Tourmalet & Classic Cols

Following the Tour de France route, you cross Col du Tourmalet, the most famous pass in the Pyrenees. This stage strings together eight cols including Peyresourde and Aubisque before returning to the Tena Valley.

Añisclo Gorge near Ainsa

The Ainsa motorcycle stage leads through the Añisclo Gorge in Ordesa y Monte Perdido National Park and on to the villages of Aínsa and Alquézar. The Sierra de Guara with its soaring birds of prey rounds out this nature-rich stage.

Montserrat before Barcelona

Just before returning to Barcelona, the Montserrat motorcycle route passes the monastery and the city's iconic landmark. Via the Collserola hills and the Tibidabo viewpoint the circle closes on this Pyrenees round trip.
