Day 1 · South Africa

Day 1: Johannesburg – Arrival & Motorcycle Handover

After a technical briefing and a safety introduction to riding in South Africa, you meet your guide and fellow participants before spending the night at a comfortable lodge in Pretoria.

Day 2: Lion Park – Ride to Mbombela

After visiting the Lion Park near Pretoria, the first riding day of your South Africa motorcycle tour heads east. Via the village of Kaapschehoop, where you may spot wild horses, the route covers around 430 kilometres to the former city of Nelspruit, now known as Mbombela.

Day 3: Panorama Route – Blyde River Canyon

This God's Window motorcycle stage takes you to the highlights of the Panorama Route: the Three Rondavels in the Blyde River Canyon, Bourke's Luck Potholes and the famous viewpoint itself, before a break at a biker bar in Graskop and pancakes in Sabie.

Day 4: Kruger National Park – Safari Day

On day four of your Kruger National Park stage you leave your motorcycle behind and explore the park in an open 4x4 vehicle. Chances are good of spotting the Big Five – lion, elephant, rhino, buffalo and leopard – in their natural habitat.

Day 5: Riding on to Magoebaskloof

After the safari in Kruger National Park, today's Magoebaskloof motorcycle stage covers around 300 kilometres into this popular South African holiday region in Limpopo, little known among European travellers.

Day 6 · South Africa

Day 6: Magoebaskloof – World's View & Crocodile Ranch

Around Magoebaskloof the Big Five safari motorcycle tour continues on two wheels: a crocodile ranch and a safari lodge offer further wildlife encounters, before photo stops at World's View and the Debengeni Falls round off the day.

Day 7 · South Africa

Day 7: Return Ride to Pretoria

The final stage of your Mpumalanga motorcycle tour passes the Long Tom Monument in Haenertsburg on the way back to Pretoria, where a traditional South African braai provides the perfect close to the week on the road.

Day 8 · South Africa

Day 8: Individual Departure
