Motorcycle Tour Croatia with Kvarner Bay

Croatia motorcycle tour to close the season: from the Rasthof Seligweiler car park in Ulm-Ost we head via Upper Bavaria and Tyrol to Flachau in Austria, then through Carinthia and Slovenia to the island of Krk. Our base hotel by the sea is the starting point for all day tours over eight nights. From here we explore Istria with Pula and Rovinj, the Kvarner Bay and the Plitvice Lakes day trip. On well-paved, winding roads this guided Croatia motorcycle tour passes landscapes full of character, with around eight to ten motorcycles per tour guide.

Highlights

Base Hotel on Krk Island

For eight nights we stay directly by the sea on the island of Krk, using it as the base for every day tour in the Kvarner Bay region. This central location makes the hotel the ideal starting point for all riding throughout the tour.

Island-Hopping to Cres

By ferry we cross from Krk to the neighbouring island, visiting the fishing villages of Osor and Mali Losinj as well as the island capital of Cres. This tour connects two islands of the Kvarner Bay in a single day.

Pula Amphitheatre Visit

The Istria motorcycle tour follows the coast via Labin to Pula, where the ancient Roman amphitheatre can be visited. The route then returns via Rovinj and Pazin back to the island of Krk and our base hotel.

Plitvice Lakes Day Trip

Early in the morning the Plitvice Lakes motorcycle tour heads into the famous national park, which served as the filming location for Karl May westerns. An optional guided walk through the lake landscape rounds off the day.

Hinterland Riding Routes

Via Novi Vinodolski, Jasenak and Delnice the tour leads through dense forest roads in the hinterland of the Kvarner Bay. Tight curves and light traffic make this stretch a real rider's experience away from the coast.
