USA Motorcycle Tour on a Harley-Davidson

Pure USA motorcycle tour: your journey begins in Washington D.C., where the guide picks you up at the airport and takes you to the hotel. After a free day with an optional city tour, you collect your Harley-Davidson and begin the Skyline Drive motorcycle tour towards York and Gettysburg. From there the route heads along quiet highways through Virginia, West Virginia and Ohio, before the Kentucky Bourbon Trail with its famous distilleries awaits. A support vehicle carries your luggage, so you can focus entirely on the Appalachians and the road.

Highlights

Blue Ridge Parkway Curves

The Blue Ridge Parkway motorcycle tour is one of the finest Appalachian stages: endless bends, viewpoints over forests and valleys and a highway closed to heavy traffic deliver pure riding pleasure without lorries.

Kentucky Bourbon Trail

On the Kentucky motorcycle tour you visit distilleries such as Buffalo Trace, Four Roses and Jim Beam. Among gentle hills and horse paddocks you sample bourbon history, with your motorcycle waiting outside the door for the next stage.

Dragon Tail Experience

The Dragon Tail motorcycle tour along the legendary Highway 129 offers 318 curves in just 17 kilometres. At the Deals Gap Resort the Tree of Shame commemorates all those who underestimated the Dragon's Tail – a true test of nerve.

Smoky Mountains Stage

The Smoky Mountains motorcycle tour leads along the Foothills Parkway and Cherohala Skyway through dense forests and misty valleys. Stops at Harley dealers and a shared BBQ in the Tennessee woods add to the experience.

Skyline Drive Pleasure

The Skyline Drive motorcycle tour takes you along the 100-mile ridgeline through Shenandoah National Park. Wide views over Virginia accompany the final winding stage back towards Washington D.C.
