Oceania sits at the other end of the world – and that is exactly what makes it such a special ride. In Australia you roll along the east coast, from Brisbane and Queensland to the Blue Mountains behind Sydney, on well-surfaced roads and through wide-open hinterland. New Zealand packs whole continents onto two islands: the volcanic North Island with Rotorua, geysers and the Coromandel coast, the South Island with alpine passes, lakes and fjords. You ride comfortable touring and road bikes, on the left-hand side of the road. Every trip is set up as a fully organised tour – with clear routes and accommodation, so you can focus entirely on the riding.
Regions
Each region has its own character. Brisbane tempts with curvy coastal routes through hinterland, Sydney with the famous Blue Mountains, New Zealand with tightly curving mountain passes and fjord landscapes.

North of Sydney lies larger Queensland: wide, well-maintained roads along the Pacific coast, then into the interior through rainforest and hill country. The day's runs are long but comfortable – perfect for distance riders.

The Blue Mountains west of Sydney are a classic: curvy mountain passes with valley views, then down to lakes and on to the sea. The roads are excellent, the curves challenging. Heading south, the coast extends to Melbourne – generous routes, perfect for multi-day tours.
New Zealand · North & South Island
New Zealand's North Island owes its shape to volcanoes – Rotorua steams, geysers shoot skyward, the Coromandel Peninsula nestles against the sea. The South Island contrasts radically: alpine passes beyond 1,000 metres, lakes in crystal-clear air, fjords like from another world. Both islands ride tight and curvy – every corner brings new views.
Oceania is more than sun and sea – it's adventure in left-hand traffic, generous distances, and landscape contrasts found nowhere else so concentrated.

You ride on two completely different landmasses: flat, sprawling Australia with its red soils and generous roads, then over to New Zealand with its mountainous islands, volcanoes, and fjords. Nowhere else do opposites lie so close together.
Left-Hand Traffic
The first kilometre feels odd – the steering wheel sits on the right, the curves bend the "wrong way". But after the first hour it becomes routine. Especially at intersections and roundabouts, extra attention helps at first, then it runs on its own. An exciting adventure, not a real obstacle.
Long Distances
Australia is sparsely populated, distances are vast. That means: long, straight coastal roads with views, hours of riding without oncoming traffic, breaks with outback flair. New Zealand, by contrast, is tightly curvy – every curve offers a new view, day's runs are shorter but more intense.
Best time to travel
Oceania lies in the Southern Hemisphere – the best time to visit is exactly opposite to Europe and falls during the European winter.

Southern seasons run opposite to Central Europe: when it's cold here, spring blooms there. The best riding time in Australia runs from September to April – warm days, dry weather, pleasant temperatures. New Zealand is shorter: November to March is ideal. The alpine passes of the South Island are open, days are long and dry.
